Goofing off at the park!

Rowan got alllll the love at the park today. Everyone wanted to pet her and talk about how she’s so BIG, cute, and well behaved. ❤️ She ate up all the attention. Usually everyone is scared of her (because of her size). People (especially kids) are her favorite. ❤️

In other news, I had no idea #nanowrimo was this month! I’m late, but still thinking about joining. I got a ton of writing done in November when I participated. It’s time I type THE END on this awesome story. Are you participating?

Found my happy place today!

Today we explored a “new” town. My husband had to do a few work errands, and then we went to lunch (sat outside, SUPER safe), walked downtown, and through a park. On our excursion we found a cute local bookstore.

Hubby knew the drill and told me to go check it out. Insta-love! And yes, we supported it and bought a book (him, not me, which I think is SEXY😍). I would have dropped a ton of money had it carried hardback copies of the ACOTAR series. I’ve decided I need all of them for my bookshelf. 🥰

Sometimes you have to get caught in the rain to find the rainbow.

Today I went for a walk at the park and got caught in the rain. It was windy, I was wet, chilly, and agitated. But then the clouds passed and Mother Nature showed me this beautiful sight.

It reminded me that there’s always a rainbow at the end of any struggle. Keep walking. 🌈❤️

The heat is out so the girls are taking advantage of the number one heat source.

We’re so thankful it’s been a “warm” spring weekend in Michigan. Dare I say a “perfect” time for the heat to go on the fritz. It should be fixed tomorrow! 🤞

Unfortunately, my stay-cation is over and it’s back to real life tomorrow. 😭 That went fast! So much good writing went down this last week! I’m extremely appreciative. ❤️
